Well the busy 2013 race season has started, in between races we have been busy with service work and guiding locally in the Dee valley and surrounding area. If you are looking for service work then please get in touch through the contact page.Guiding is also available and rides can be tailored to suit your ability and preference of riding.
With summer time soon approaching this late deluge of snow hasn’t been welcomed by all, with snow drifts up to 20′ deep in places throughout the Dee valley and many trail centers under more than 12″ of snow riding conditions have been far from ideal. This time last year the trails were dry and dusty, what a difference a year makes. Here’s to seeing the back of march and looking to improved weather conditions in April.
Fork and shock servicing has been busy in the the last few weeks, it is important to keep on top of this for a more preventative than cure measure with consequences high if they are left untouched.
We use genuine spare parts and turn around time is usually no longer than three days. Read more ›
2013 arrived quite quickly after the hectic year of 2012, the race season ended superbly and then returning home for winter was looked upon with great interest.
With new routes planned and new trails to be explored ready for the new year the network of trails of varying terrain and difficulty we have access to is forever increasing. With 4 days ridden prior to my accident the plan for this winter changed significantly. A simple over the bars crash resulted in me breaking my T 6,7 and 8 vertebrae, an air ambulance trip to ysbyty glan clwyd and several nights in hospital was quite a shock! Now home and fully on the mend im looking forward to getting back on the bike as soon as possible.
Servicing work has continued to be productive with several bikes coming in for a winter overhaul as well as fork and shock servicing something that is quite often overlooked on a bike.
keep it rubber side down!
Due to injury North wales trails will be ceasing all guiding until early spring.
Servicing work will still be available throughout this period please get in contact with your needs.
Thank you for your custom throughout 2012 and see you on the trails in the new year
Its started to get a bit cooler in the valleys now, but that means ground frosts and trails that ride fast Pretty much the same as riding in summer but without the dust and short sleeve jerseys. We have been out and about exploring some new routes and stumbled upon some amazing descents.
